Not that long I had a chance to review two KBL Sound digital cables which matched their analog counterparts I’d known before in terms of excellent performance. Now it is time to try yet another of their products, the KBL Sound Prism USB cable.

I have been using Soyaton Benchmark RCA interconnects and speaker cables for a while in my reference system and have been very happy with both of them. Now it’s time to check out the latest additions to the brand’s lineup, Soyaton Benchmark Mk2 XLR IC.

While today not so popular as bass-reflex designs, horn speakers are still sought after primarily by those who love low-power tube amplifiers. It is not easy though, to come by ones that offer a proper class to be a good match for top tube electronics. Destination Audio has been famous for its huge 105 dB sensitive Vesta horns, but later they decided to make a smaller speaker yet still high-sensitivity model. That’s the origin story of Destination Audio NiKA.

Polska firma Audio Reveal zdobyła uznanie w branży dzięki wzmacniaczom zintegrowanym, które pracują w opartym na tetrodach układzie single-ended. Najnowszy dodatek do jej oferty – Audio Reveal Classique – to też konstrukcja zintegrowana, ale zbudowana ku chwale lampy 300B, oczywiście tylko jednej na kanał.

Choć wielkie, ciężkie i technologicznie zaawansowane, kolumny podłogowe Avantgarde Acoustic Duo SD stanowią zaledwie środek oferty niemieckiego producenta. Mają też bardzo dobrze sobie radzić w niedużych pomieszczeniach. Skoro nadarzyła się okazja do ugoszczenia ich u siebie, zbrodnią byłoby z niej nie skorzystać. Zapraszam!
