Over two years ago I had a chance to spend quite a long time listening to very interesting, quite unusual design-wise, stand-mount speakers from Hungary called SYZYGY. The latest product of this company, the Raffai-Audio BANTAM, is in some ways even more original. 

Most of you may be (yet) unfamiliar with the brand Soundastic, but at the same time you probably know Struss Audio. The former is nothing else than the latter re-branded. Continuing the traditions of its predecessor, the new/old Polish manufacturer offers an integrated, the name of which suggests top performance from the start. Let me introduce you to the Soundastic Reference integrated amplifier.

The (relatively) reasonably priced Allnic Audio H-5500 tube phonostage offers as many as four inputs, two for MM and two for MC cartridges, and built-in step-up transformers for the latter. It also comes from a reputable brand and looks really good. Does its performance match the looks? Let’s find out.

Although Rethm Aarka speaker set had its debut two years ago, recent lockdowns had its maker Jacob George at the drawing board again. Time spent there effectively turned his entire roster upside down. Today’s Aarka makes that point rather well by being visually unlike any other Rethm we’ve seen thus far. Enjoy!

Polska firma Audio Reveal zdobyła uznanie w branży dzięki wzmacniaczom zintegrowanym, które pracują w opartym na tetrodach układzie single-ended. Najnowszy dodatek do jej oferty – Audio Reveal Classique – to też konstrukcja zintegrowana, ale zbudowana ku chwale lampy 300B, oczywiście tylko jednej na kanał.

Choć wielkie, ciężkie i technologicznie zaawansowane, kolumny podłogowe Avantgarde Acoustic Duo SD stanowią zaledwie środek oferty niemieckiego producenta. Mają też bardzo dobrze sobie radzić w niedużych pomieszczeniach. Skoro nadarzyła się okazja do ugoszczenia ich u siebie, zbrodnią byłoby z niej nie skorzystać. Zapraszam!
